Throwing Tangle-Barbs

Unlike other root abilities, Tangle-Barbs roots everything it passes through and has no limit to how many units it can hit. You should look to toss Tangle-Barbs through a minion wave as hitting at least two minions will make the spiral empowered and will root the enemy for longer. The only way the enemy can be safe from a lolsolved.gg root is to be out of its range, which just isn’t practical most of the time, especially during laning phase. Throwing Tangle-Barbs through the minion wave when your opponent tries to farm will allow you to catch them easily and set up a gank, or simply allow you to get some poke in.

The benefits from points into W, while they are still really good, just don’t outweigh the benefits from either of the other two spells, and thus should be left to last. Pop Blossom is an extremely strong ultimate ability and one of the best team fighting ultimates we’ve seen in a while. It has an incredibly high base damage and scales with 130 percent of your AP making it quite possibly the strongest AoE ultimate in the game. It’s like a mix between a full AP Nunu ult with the stun of an Amumu ult.

Neekos is a tough guy, but he doesn’t seem to be a popular choice. Seen as a below average choice, and should be avoided if possible, concerning difficulty, this is a moderately diffcult to play champion for new players in league of legends. After trying many different builds ranging from attack speed on hit to a Glacial Augment perma slow build, I’ve found that the general mage build is the best all-round build for Neeko. Comboing an Empowered Tangle-Barb into Pop Blossom will leave someone unable to move for quite some time, making Neeko an extremely strong utility champion that also deals tons of damage. Due to it being an AoE ability, Blooming Burst can allow you to absolutely decimate a teamfight if you manage to land it onto multiple enemies. This is easily done if the enemies are grouped up and under some form of CC, such as Tangle-Barbs, or a Nami bubble, for example.

As the match progresses, it is best to get the maximum out of it and have a strong ability to build a lead and dominate your opponent. Focus on knocking out your opponent with CSE and gaining experience. Neeko has her stealth and shape splitter, but it’s not enough against many champions. Neeko relies heavily on the attacking range and can punish melee masters in the top lane. So, I guess I am a little confused about what all has the ability to proc Liandry’s. Akali’s passive,Elise’s spider minions,Fizz’s W passive,Illaoi’s tentacles,Jax’s/Diana’s/Vi’s/Twisted Fate’s third hits,Qiyana’s passive,Rammus’s passive,Twitch’s…

The reason she gets a lot of bans is because she fulfils her potential in this build-up, so make sure you use it before she gets into the ban phase. Neeko tends to synergizes well with champions that can make use of her ability to lock down opponents. She also works extremely well with champions who can keep opponents grouped in a fight. Here’s a list of champions that I’ve found to work well with Neeko. It’s important to note that while under the effects of Inherent Glamour, you may use Shapesplitter freely. This will create a clone of your chosen ally allowing for even more stupidly funny situations and will leave your opponents baffled as to which of you is real.

You can really abuse her range if you are against a melee champion. Play aggressive and make sure to constantly poke the opponent. Max her W followed by E and Q or R whenever possible. There is really no downside to the on-hit build and is really effective. You can go with any role except support with this build. She is extremely safe due to her range and her clone.

This drastic patch eliminated Neeko’s chances of seeing competitive play as a bottom rink and took away her new build potential. In patch 9.5, Riot Games introduced a hotfix to prevent players from accumulating attack damage and attacking speed items for them. Due to their drastic attack speed and hit damage, the Neeko Build was taken out of the solo snake and Storm was dead. I think the Permaslow build-up that you see with the Ahri players at the moment is very strong and I think it can be used as a support. The downside is that the on-hit build is less effective.
